Saturnia is a fraction of the municipality of Manciano, in the hilly hinterland of the Grosseto Maremma. Frequent visits to the Saturnia area are documented up to the Bronze Age, with the subsequent birth and development of Etruscan settlements, as evidenced by the remains of various necropolises dating back to the 8th century BC.
The Cascate del Mulino are one of the most evocative and fascinating places in the Tuscan Maremma, it is a place that arose naturally, originating from a travertine rock, carved by the cascade of thermal sulphurous waters.
The waterfalls are famous above all for their beauty, small natural pools are continuously filled with water that comes from the high waterfall
The church of Santa Maria Maddalena is the main church of Saturnia, a hamlet in the municipality of Manciano in the province of Grosseto.
The oldest mention of the church dates back to 1188, but the current appearance of the building is due to the radical restoration of 1933
